Trading since 1992, Marchant's Cookware is all that a good cookshop should be. Winners of NATIONAL COOKSHOP OF THE YEAR Award in 1995 and the INDEPENDENT HOUSEWARES RETAILER OF THE YEAR Award in 2002 and 2006, our commitment to customer care, careful product selection and staff development is vital to the success of the business.

We have two shops, our flagship store in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk with over 3000 square feet of beautiful and exciting stock, and a smaller, yet nonetheless perfectly formed store in Saffron Walden, Essex. Both stores are located in beautiful market towns so if you aren't local, why not get away for the weekend and see for yourselves.

Our stock selection is made with an eye to quality, reliability and good value. You will see some very famous brands like Dualit and Le Creuset and some that you may not recognise such as Wusthof Trident knives (really the best of the best) and Silverwood Bakeware (fantastic to use and better still - made in Birmingham).

We pride ourselves on our knowledge of the market and deal with all of the key housewares suppliers (over 120 at the last count) and if by chance we don't keep what you need in stock, we will do our utmost to find it for you.
